Yuletide Cup 2024–2025 Season

How it works

The challenge is to set your lowest gross score at each hole, playing as many rounds as you like over the Christmas period. The 18-hole total will gradually come down as you play more rounds, but the catch is that your handicap allowance is also progressively reduced! For the first 2 rounds you total the score and subtract 5/6 of your Course Handicap, then it goes 4/5, 3/4, 2/3, 1/2 and stays at 1/2 for the remainder. This can make it a tough call whether you play again (losing handicap shots) in the hope of improving the total by more than you would lose.
