“Abbey” – playing the 4th hole

The left-hand fairway bunker is a good line off the tee, and should take the field out of play! If there is any breeze, even long-hitters will struggle to carry it.

The best line into the green is from the right, as near to the fairway bunker as you can. In summer, the back deck of the green is very firm, and you will need to land on the front to have a chance of stopping the ball. Going long here is very bad - anywhere close to the hedge and you will have no shot!
